Phi Films
Phi FIlms
Created in 2007, Phi Films is a division of the Phi Group and is devoted to the creation of independent films made by daring filmmakers, both emerging and well known. Inspired by the vision of producers Phoebe Greenberg and Penny Mancuso, Phi Films has quickly become known for its choice of projects that merge a brave and lively aesthetic with a unique and captivating story.
Phi Films has built its reputation in a short time with features, shorts, and documentaries that have garnered critical acclaim both locally and internationally, including the Cannes award-winning Next Floor by Denis Villeneuve, Hope by Pedro Pires, the Oscar-nominated Incendies by Denis Villeneuve and All Flowers in Time by Jonathan Caouette.
The mission of Phi Films is to create a gathering place for cinema by participating in projects that push the boundaries and enable films to be viewed in multiple contexts: festivals, television, in-flight entertainment on planes, galleries, museums and other art institutions.
